I became vegetarian in Oct 2007, after reading "Skinny Bitch." I had already thought about transitioning before that, but reading the book made me snap into reality. I became a vegan in April 2008, with the help of my raw vegan trainer. I was having some cravings here and there for cheese, but overall I did pretty good. It wasn't until June 2008 that I started looking into the raw vegan thing. I want to lose weight, but I also want something that will keep me feeling good and healthy for LIFE. So, I decided to give it a go.
I became a veggie, because it makes sense that cow's milk is only for cows and we had our share of milk from our mothers. I'm also against the animal cruelty. I wasn't much of an animal lover previous to becoming vegan, but I notice how much more compasionate I am as I go along.
